GRP fittings
Fittings complement the straight pipe and must be chemically and mechanically compatible with it. Fittings have different shapes and are designed for three main cases, namely: when a change of direction occurs, when a change in the outside diameter of the pipe occurs, or at the junction between two pipes. For example:
For directional changes where there are pipes of the same diameter, elbows of different angles can be used;
For a reduction in the dimension of the pipe, concentric or eccentric reducers can be used;
– For a reduction in the dimension of the pipe, as well as a change in direction, ramifications can be used.
ROREX uses standardised manufacturing methods for GRP fittings, which can be manufactured in a wide range of standard or non-standard sizes, for pressure or non-pressure applications, depending on customer requirements. Fittings up to DN 900 mm can be manufactured mechanically with the continuous filament winding technology.
